I can't believe this thread is gone. I mean Ani is like a fucking master of the folk arts. So I thought I would start this thread. I am very sad about Ani's poor little wrists, she has to take a whole year off which is VERY terrible. However, I am hoping that she will be back in one year feeling and playing wonderfully. I have been singing the song Pardigm in my head all freakin' day long! It's crazy. I can't wait to have a new CD because I have heard her new songs and they are beyond amazing, way beyond amazing.

She has tendonitis and can't tour for a year :-(. I'm not sure when that year began but I think it's until the fall.

She's taking a year off? This might be the first time in her career that she's not releasing a new CD in less than 12 months after the previous one.

Her year off actually started in August but she is scheduled for a date in New Orleans at the end of April so it wasn't quite a year that she took off. I assume she'll be putting out a new album soon though. She had enough new songs for a new album when I saw her in July so it won't be long. I love Ani! She's amazing and her new stuff is fucking out of this world, so be looking out for that!
