i heart girlyman. a lot. they make me very happy. admittedly, i havent seen them play yet, but i think i'll start stalking them around brooklyn when they play here. yah, thats it :)

I'm so excited that Girlyman is getting the exposure they are and that you guys like them. I've been following them for about 6 years (when Ty and Doris were The Garden Verge and Nate was performing solo). The first time I saw Ty and Doris play it was for $5 in Tribeca when and they were selling a 4-song demo on cassette. Nate would play accordian with them sometimes which was a hoot.

FARGAHAR--one of my favorite Nate lines is from "Beautiful Boy" from his solo CD.
"And when I kissed you it was like prickles and stars..."

the opening act for most of the midwest tour (up until texas). they rock. i consider them my faves after IG (which is a huge deal, because for so long it was michelle malone)

nate, ty, and doris are their names. they're from brooklyn (ty and doris are originally from NJ and nate from MA).

Hmmm - just the name of their band puts me off of them. But I dont like what I hear online.

I do hear they are rael good live - same kind of thing with Kim Richey and Cordero. Both kinda sucked on CD but live they were real good.
