new show: 2005-07-07 Long Beach Vault 350

Hi All,

I have a new recording to announce: the 07 July 2005 show in Long Beach. Girlyman opened and Vonda Shepard was a special guest. A happy, singing crowd and a great performance: the "Finlandia" closer with Girlyman broke everyone's heart. I taped it, spent far too long processing it, and now I'd like to share the love. Setlist and taping info below.

Constructive feedback welcomed. This is one of my first concert recordings, and while I'm delighted with the sound quality, it suffers from neophyte mistakes (a gap while changing minidiscs, too many "whoohoo"s from the audience.) I've tried very hard not to add any other mistakes during post-production. Let me know if you enjoyed it, & let me know what I can do better next time. :)

Source: SP-BMC3 -> Sharp 821 minidisc (4 rows back, stage right = Amy's side)
Transfer: MD -> analog sndcard -> 32/44.1 WAV -> Audacity editor
Edited: Lowered levels on inter-song crowd noise; split on sector boundaries;
added fades to first & last tracks; balanced L & R levels.
Final Transfer: -> 16/44.1 WAV -> FLAC -V. Checked w shntool, added metadata w metaflac.

Notes: Girlyman opened. Girlyman and Vonda Shepard were guests on a few songs.
On disc 1, tracks 1 and 2 are incomplete, and track 6 has a ~2 second glitch.
On disc 2, there are gaps between tracks 5 & 6, and between tracks 7 & 8
(the pre-encore pause).
