Anyone else have a deep love for this band like I do?
Let's talk about it. Please.

Ahem. I actually saw EJS in concert. They were doing some sort of summer show for Western CT State University at the Charles Ives Center in Danbury back when I was like 16. They invited me and my friends back to their hotel (what used to be the Hilton ... is now the Sheraton) room after the show (I think we were the only people who had any idea who EJS actually was). They were very raucous.

I am a big viva la diva fan. I saw Cooper recently onstage in the Rocky Horror picture show in Atlanta. And she played guitar as well as acted. Angela Motter was in it too. Any Viva la diva boots out there? Candi Jiosne sings a song on greatest hits (their only cd) and Amy Ray recites a poem in the background.

I didn't even know you could still even buy EJS albums. Back when I was fifteen or so (over 15 years ago now ... so sad), EJS played a free concert in town and it was a laid-back affair, as they weren't very well-known around these parts. Somehow, my friends and I (who were DJs at the local college radio station that sponsored the concert) ended up partying with EJS at the Hilton, where they were staying and back then, I took it totally for granted and now I'm like "Did that really happen?" because it's all kind of surreal now.
